The kettle corn popper has a more expensive 80 quart high quality stainless steel bowl. If the doesn't say "MADE IN USA" it is a cheaper import subject to cracking.
This bowl is made exclusively for M&L Concessions.
There is no hump on the bottom of the bowl. Much easier to pop and pop and pop! Less popcorn pops out of the kettle with the flat bottom.
Pops up to 8 cups at a time.
This kettle smokes much less than the cheaper imports that others sell. If the bowl isn't labeled "Made in USA" on the middle ring, it is an import. ASK and don't get smoked.
The kettle is mounted on a powder coated frame with your choice of red or black. Custom colors available.
Solid 2" tube framing.
Attractive diamond plate wind guards.
All stainless steel kettle poppers for an extra $150.00
The bowl is leveraged to lift easily when you dump the popcorn out of the bowl. No spring needed.
Perfectly designed tipper. You don't have to use the paddle to scoop all the popcorn out of the popper. What a time waster.
The popper has 15 feet of propane hosing to keep your propane tank away from the canopy. Some fire departments require this.
The popper also has ball bearing poly wheels for long life and easy moving about; also adjustable feet in case you are on uneven ground. Other cheaply made kettle poppers neglect this important feature.
Other than the pilot light tube we use solid brass plumbing. The kettle corn popper comes with a pilot light ignition and a shut off valve on the frame for easy on/off with the propane. The shut off valve is located waist high and on the back of the popper to prevent accidental starting. (NO BURNT ARMS FROM USING UNDEPENDABLE LIGHTERS EVERY TIME YOU START A NEW BATCH).
The KettlePopper has a solid brass easy connector that has a hand wheel..no wrench needed. $75.00 value. Easy on..easy off...(Quick disconnect available upon request. However, some fire departments may refuse to let you pop as they can leak. We use a very high quality quick disconnect, BUT DON'T RECOMMEND THEM FOR YOUR SAFETY AND FIRE DEPARTMENT REGULATIONS.
If the hardware ( nuts/bolts) is made in stainless, we use them. Not zinc, not galvanized.
